Can something do exclusive mode and at the same time using the samme bit and samplerate to play sound from twitch or reels, shorts or youtube ? No, this goes against the exclusive in exclusive mode. Just don’t use exclusive mode, you don’t need it. Set output to 24/192 and forget about it.
Hi, I own a Marantz PM7004 and see many used ones for sale. I use mine in poweramp mode, with Minidsp Flex as preamp, but wonder if I can add a second one and use only one channel (poweramp in and loudspeaker outs) to hopefully use its full power on the separate channels. Is this possible or...
After reading about the Apple Music (AM) app online, it seems that the AM app cannot bypass the internal mixer for Windows, MacOS, and Android, as there is no exclusive mode available. The only way to achieve bit-perfect playback is through an iOS device connected to an external DAC.
Just pointing out that there are a few different Pre Amps (mine is a dedicated Pre Amp [as opposed to an Integrated Amplifier, such as yours]) that have more than one Pre Out. I have never seen more than one Pre Out on an Integrated Amp (and usually not even 1) so you are most likely correct about that. (when it concerns Integrated Amps).
Does anyone know how the wired connections on the Sennheiser Momentum 4 work? You can connect digitally via USB-C, or via an analogue headphone cable. I wondered if the USB-C connection allows for higher bit rates than via bluetooth, and if the analogue connection bypasses any ADC/DAC process?
This is a review and detailed measurements of the Onkyo TX-RZ50 9.2 8K THX Certified AV Receiver. It was purchased new by a member and drop shipped to me for testing. It costs US $1,399. Looks like all AVR companies are trying to break the mold of just dual rotary controls to something...
Does it happen as well when using exclusive mode but without using volume normalization? In that case volume is 1.0 in Audio MIDI Setup if TIDAL volume is set to full.
This is a review and detailed measurements of the DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core Room Equalizer. It is on kind loan from a member and costs US $1,200...
Also using the DD2 in CD mode sounds much better than Lossless FLAC files being played through it in PC mode. So this must be more about the Amp than just the CS43131 built in DAC. The DD2 seriously makes a case for CD vs. Hi Res streaming on the go. Not sure how the Fiio DM13 would fare in such a test - I think that's the main point here.
At the new lower level I have to adjust the gain switch to high gain mode and turn the volume know to ~1 oclock to get back to normal listening level. I have narrowed this down to the Mac Audio MIDI Setup app settings dropping the Primary Stream output level to -41db (sometimes -22db) whenever Tidal Exclusive mode is engaged.
