LEWISBURG — Bucknell has chosen a successful Division III coach as its head football coach. On Thursday the university announced it has hired Jeff Behrman, who guided John Carroll University to a 12-2 record and to the NCAA Division III semifinals this year.

Jeff Behrman has been hired as the new head coach at Bucknell, a member of the Patriot League. That is a Football Championship Subdivision program that is allowed to grant football scholarships. “I knew Jeff would be sought-after,” said JCU athletic director Brian Polian. “He’s done a great job here.”
